on Amazon Kindle

posted by DL Byron on November 29, 2007

pnp_kindle_large.jpg Interesting to find that our book is on Amazon’s Kindle wireless reading device. I was checking the book page today and saw this note

Publish and Prosper: Blogging for Your Business and over 80,000 other books are available for Amazon Kindle – Amazon’s new wireless reading device

Cool. I guess.

Clip-n-Seal in WSJ

posted by Jason Swihart on November 26, 2007

In the Wall Street Journal Online’s Holiday Gift Guide, Jeremy Wagstaff writes:

I WON’T travel without it: The Clip-n-Seal is a tube of plastic clasped by another—a sort of clamp. It’s simple and will keep food fresh, bug free and unspilled, even in the tropics.

A nice recommendation for TDI’s little sister. Apart from keeping things fresh, Clip-n-Seal is also the germ from which TDI’s business blogging practice has grown.

Back in the day: skateboards

posted by DL Byron on November 22, 2007

Back in the day, as this photo shows, that’s how I rolled: skateboard, short shorts, straw hat, and wristbands.

Thanks Mom for bringing that to Thanksgiving from your archives.

posted by Jason Swihart on November 20, 2007

Wacky On December 11, Byron speaks at Web Design World, Boston on two topics: “Your Home Page is Obsolete: Finding Your Way in Web 2.0” and “A Blog-Oriented Architecture.”

We’ll be there on the 10th and 11th to work the room, load up on iodine, and catch the likes of Zeldman, Meyer, and Cedarholm.

Wacky, originally uploaded by psd.

business, numbers, money, people

computerworld.gifOur client Wellpoint received a well-deserved writeup in Computerworld today. The article—“Corporate blogging: Does it really work?”—talks a little about how Wellpoint has harnessed bloggy power to communicate across hierarchies. For a company of that size, it’s a challenging problem, and blogs have a way of cutting through the mess.

Of course, our own TDI got some ink along with Wellpoint, with several quotes from Byron. In honor of the occasion, we offer this gift to the internet:

Escalator

posted by DL Byron on November 11, 2007

I’m traveling again:

  • Taipei
  • San Antonio
  • Vegas
  • London
  • Boston
  • Maui

and snapped this photo of an escalator at DFW, a dreamy shot, jet-lagged, and tired.
