Mobile Social Seattle

posted by DL Byron on April 29, 2009

mobile_social_aneventapart2009_tout-thumb-300xauto-363.gifThe Mobile Social (MoSo) Seattle is this weekend. We’re doing this one in conjunction with An Event Apart, who brought their design conference back to town.

We’ll ride a relaxed pace from the Waterfront to the South Park neighborhood for a keg tapping at Schooner Exact Brewery. After a few beers, we’ll give away lots of schwag and a Yuba Mundov.

Art | Paper

posted by DL Byron on April 13, 2009

Joshua Davis launches paper line at solo art show in Toronto … I saw Josh perform at Active 8, a creative conference in Seattle in 2001. He wore a hand-made Beetle Juice outfit and put charcoal in his eyes. Changed my perspective on many things: Flash as Art (net.art) and doing a talk with no prep, just riffing.

Still have a Praystation under my desk and remember the understatement that was Dreamless.org.

The Davis show coincides with FITC Toronto, a four-day event (April 25-28th, 2009) that brings together the world’s top designers and developers.
