Travel Tips

It’s not a good idea to take an Ambien and nod off while watching your iPod video with headphones on.

I woke up with the headphones wrapped around my neck and an iPod imprint on my face.

It is a good idea to use an application like Postfix Enabler for Tiger that allows you to sendmail when traveling despite the ISP’s rules or port blockage.

Your homepage is obsolete

posted by DL Byron on December 03, 2007

Presented at Web Builder 2.0, Vegas, 2007.

The Web has changed the way we socialize and do business. And Web 2.0 has changed the way we design and browse. Truth is, no one cares about your home page—they’re coming into your site directly from a search and want to get right to the content. In this session, Byron will show you how to design for findability, address a searching user’s needs, and give your users the content they want.
