"Flash® on Display" presentation by Gabe Kean of Born Magazine and Gabe Kean Design
Washington State Convention & Trade Center
Room 6B: Wednesday, March 01, 2006 (10:30 AM-11:45 AM)

See what happens when Flash technology is applied to interactive environments, and the results of connecting Flash to sensors, projectors, cameras, TVs, and mirrored displays.

Award-winning exhibit/interactive designer Gabe Kean will demonstrate how he uses Flash to bring experiences to life in physical spaces.

He will demonstrate his approach to projects including:

-"Greenwood Space Travel Supply," interactive art installations at 826, Seattle's peculiar space travel retail and tutoring center (now open for business).
-"Art of Modern Rock: The Poster Explosion," acclaimed exhibit at Bumbershoot in Seattle (September 2005)
-"Help Wanted: Collaborations in Art," Born Magazine's interactive exhibit (www.bornmagazine.org/helpwanted) in Seattle (March-April 2005)

Additionally, he'll present his approaches to museum exhibits, interaction atop the Space Needle, and creating collaborative spaces in corporate environments.
