Taipei Halloween Parade: Hello Kitty
posted by DL Byron on October 18, 2008
Totally trippy Taipei version of a Halloween parade through the Liberty Square. The parade for me represented Taipei — this crazy old, new, reinventing-itself mix. And in 08, Taipei has become a bike town. The City has spent millions of bike paths and the citizens responded by buying bikes and riding on the paths. I’ve written more about that on Bike Hugger.
IDF Day Zero
Tomorrow is Day Zero at the Intel Developer Forum Taiwan with lots of technology to blog about. I expect to see a mix of stuff like Taipei itself. We’ve got a Blogger Party, the tech showcase, interviews with the keynoters, and also just being at the event.
More Taipei from the Bike Hugger Photostream.
