You Are Dinosaurs

The iPhone 4.0 announcement was like reading the Hammer of the Gods, the part where Billy Idol insults Led Zeppelin, calling them dinosaurs, and telling them to frack off. What I saw was Jobs as Idol, Apple representing GenX, and Publishers as dinosaurs.
Andy Clarke’s iPad was around An Event Apart Seattle and he was kind enough to let me play with it. We also had coffee with words like touchiness and appvertorial coming up in the conversation. I’m old enough to remember the desktop publishing revolution, there for blogging, and it seems I’ll see another with the iPad.
Not entirely sure how it’ll unfold, but it will, and this is the start of it.
